Letter of Support:
We are writing this letter of support for the S.O.S. (Students Offering Support) program that has been implemented by student leaders in conjunction with advisers Dakota Koski and Anne Parish.  We have seen this program make a significant difference in the lives of our students.  The weekly meetings that foster an open and safe environment for our students to talk and discuss real life issues are critical for our students who need a place to share life experiences. The safety and confidentiality that has been created has allowed students to be open about the things going on in their lives, so they can process and seek help if needed.  S.O.S. is developing assets and building character for our students in a healthy and effective way.

We at Cloquet Senior High School are committed to support the S.O.S. program by providing referrals of eligible students, space and time during the school day for S.O.S. to meet, use of telephone, copy & fax machines, and providing opportunities for additional training/events.  We are proud of this group and what it brings to our building and our community.

We appreciate the opportunities that this program provides for our students and look forward to our continued partnership with the REACH program.  We value and support SOS!

Please feel free to call us with any questions.
